COLORADO PARTICIPANTS  - Join us to take part in "AN INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE " at the 101st annual RI convention in Montreal, Quebec, Canada

20-23 June, 2010

Right now the registration fee is US $ 345.00 per person and you register by entering your e-mail and a password.


 

HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS

 

In order to stay in the same hotel we are holding a block of 14 rooms ( first come - first serve )for District 5450 at the:

 Centrally located and newly renovated  with restaurants, bars, disco and shopping all nearby. Originally listed at $246.00, our rate is CAD 199.00 plus 18% tax total (US$ 245.15) for double or single occupancy.


A SPECIAL RECEPTION AND DINNER will be organized by our district governor MICHAEL OLDHAM on Tuesday June 22nd for all Colorado delegates at the LE CENTRE SHERATON MONTREAL

Post Convention Options


Some of you may wish to stay longer in Montreal at the same hotel or visit some of the other cities .

1 night /2 days  June 24th to 25th 2010 ( cost pp CAD $ 448.00 )

Deluxe motorcoach transportation with a professional English speaking guide

Includes hotel accommodations and breakfast and a comprehensive city tour.

 

In 1857 Queen Victoria declared Ottawa the capital of Canada. Located in the province of Ontario, Ottawa marries French and English and is steeped in the two cultures. It also largely reflects the history and politics of Canada. A predominant element belonging to the rich Canadian civilization and hosts Parliament Hill, the home of the Canadian government.

QUEBEC CITY

Stay for extra two nights at the same hotel but also take a full day motorcoach tour to QUEBEC CITY on June 24th (CAD $ 65.00 pp about US $ 67.80)

 

 

Capital of “la Belle Province “ and named a world heritage site by the UNESCO , Quebec is a unique and charming spot. It was in 1608 that Samuel de Champlain founded a dwelling on the edge of the ST LAWRENCE, in a place called “Kebec” by the Algonquin Indians, which means “ where the river narrows”

 

Quebec City is a village which has preserved many vestiges of the French regime. It is the only fortified city in North America and you will find British influences in the architecture of the many stone houses .

VIA RAIL CANADA  


 

 

 Take a train across Canada from Montreal via Toronto to Vancouver, stopping in Winnipeg – Saskatoon – Edmonton – Jasper

Enjoy a Canadian/New England Cruise!

June 26th departing Montreal  - St Lawrence river cruise, the New England coast, ending up in Boston July 3rd 2010. – 7 day cruise.

 

 

 

Join us on this unique cruise exploring QUEBEC CITY , CHARLOTTETOWN  Prince Edward Island –SYDNEY, Canada and HALIFAX  Nova Scotia – BAR HARBOUR, Maine  ending up in BOSTON.

AIRFARES:

 

Denver – Montreal one way ( starting at $ 298.00 –and up pp) and round trip at ($ 499.38 –and up pp)  depending on specific dates of travel,  whether one way or round trip, based on individual participants' plans after the convention.

 

If you choose to join our cruise to Boston , the present airfare on SOUTHWEST AIRLINES is $89.00 pp one way for your return Boston to Denver.
